Kids making paper at Bell Street Gallery

Kids Art class for June 24th was paper making with flowers and glitter.  Kids enjoyed making the paper from recycled newspapers and adding natural "stuff".

Summer Solstice Reception Classical to Rock

We welcomed in the summer with a mixture of classical music provided by the Madeline Island Music Camp and the rock group of "legfingers".  Music ran till 10:30 with about 150 visitors to the gallery enjoying the warm weather, 85 degrees when the String Quartet started.

Kids Class - Clay beads fun at Bell Street Gallery

Kids on the Island made clay beads and bears with clay meant to air dry.  All had a great time....

Steve Hemingway reception filled with music and viewers

Steve Hemingway took Madeline Island and Bell Street Gallery by storm (down pour just before reception).  We enjoyed the music of Mozart and enjoyed smoke salmon viewing Steve's latest works.

Frank-N-Stein and finishing touches

Here's some of the finishing touches we've added to the gallery, this is the new front step, and the step to the shed in the back deck area.

Kelly (from Bell Street Gallery) had to help out our youngest customer so far, Ricky.  After buying a book on face painting, Ricky needed to try it out.
