Warm weekend means working on the cedar siding

The weather was warm and 30's over the weekend, besides the huge moon with a ring around it, it allow for work to really begin on the outside of the building.  The bright red paint was coming off but not without some effort....

Gabe work with the sander  while Steve worked at ground level with the time tested scraper.

Progress on Bell Street Gallery inside and out...

This is the new color direction for the gallery roughly done in photoshop from the image below. View from Tom's Burn Down ....
View of the buildings from Bell Street Tavern and shows the shed which will hold kids arts and crafts.
Paint stripping is going on the outside as the weather warms up to 20's.
This is the view from Tom's as of 2.28.09.  Lots of paint scrapping and priming in the next month (we hope).

This is the back of the gallery where there's still an old Ute's sign and where we have started replacing the siding.
Inside view showing the new sales counter and one of the displays.  The floor is getting another coat of varnish this week .
More views of the inside with the great sunlight coming in the new doors.
Lots of space for the Art work to come....
